Why come to Mediation in the Workplace?

The quality of our trainers

We believe that the quality of the training is usually determined by the quallity of the trainer - Our programmes are personally led by Sarah Crayford Brown, a practising workplace mediator since 2007. Sarah has extensive experience including:

  • As an internal mediator and as an external independent mediator;
  • Awarded Independent Mediator of the Year 2014 and Mediator Champion of the Year 2015 in the National Mediation Awards;
  • Author - contributed a chapter on using mediatrion to resolve workplace bullying in The Handbook of Dealing with Workplace Bullying (2015).
  • Works with the pubic, private and charity sectors;
  • Setting up a mediation service;
  • Mediating group mediaton and 2 party mediations;
  • Delivering over 20 mediation training programmes;
  • Previous experience as a senior manager;
  • Is trained as a workplace investigator; and
  • Is also trained and practices as a skilled conflict coach.

The ratio of delegate to trainer

To learn most effectively during the practical aspect of the 6 day programme, we believe that the ratio of delegate to trainer is key so for groups of 8 or more delegates, Sarah works with another skilled and practicing workplace mediator.

The support after the programme

We offer support personal to delegates in the period after the programme - whether this is help in understanding the written assessment or in how to put the new skills into practice.
